John Beach was born on a small ranch in Southwest Wyoming, raised as a young boy on that ranch with this grandparents. As the largest (and least handy) grandchild, John ended up on top of the haystack with a pitchfork. He knows about cows and horses from the “bottom” up. This has grown into a love of the West, its history, culture, and idiosyncrasies. John lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming, a community with a rich history; and recently moved to Colorado, another of the western states, both of which help to inform the richness of the his stories. John’s travels in storytelling have taken him from Montana to Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico and those experiences have enriched the stories that John tells about the West and all the colorful characters and stories.
